Description:

Join us in this legitimate full time, seasonal, home based position working for ACTIVE Network. ACTIVE Network powers the world's activities and connects people with the things they love, want, and need to do. Our full time, seasonal needs are expected to run through early September with a chance for future regular (12 month per year) part-time status.


We are hiring employees to handle a specific assignment (referred to as "membership support project") in which you will receive phone calls from customers needing information and/or billing updates on their personal membership plan. You will generally be scheduled 32-40 hours per week during our business operating hours of Monday - Friday 10am - 8pm ET. Our mandatory paid training program (April 29 - May 5) will provide you with all the skills needed to be successful in this position. You will receive continual support from our supervisory staff, Information Technology (IT), Training, and Human Resources groups.


You will be provided a company computer ("thin client") and headset - equipment and shipping costs paid by ACTIVE Network.


Be part of the latest trend in call center work by accepting incoming calls and providing customer service assistance! There are no out-bound calling or sales/commission requirements!

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Listen to customers' needs, find and enter information in a quick and efficient manner through the use of a headset while using ACTIVE Network's technology; maintain control of customer conversations in a calm, professional, and polite manner; maintain ethical and positive disposition in interacting with customers, co-workers, and supervisory staff; ability to cross train in and work on different in-bound customer service programs.
- Adhere to our formal attendance expectations and overall company policies and procedures.


This position pays $8.00 per hour with a $250 incentive at the membership support project's end (if employed at time of project's end and overall work performance is satisfactory including Organizational policy adherence). Our membership support project is expected to continue through July. At the end of this project, incumbents will likely be provided opportunity to cross train into a work at home camping reservation assignment.


REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate remotely with your support groups by phone, email and instant messaging (IM); must be able to communicate well with all personality types including customers needing special care; ability to calmly handle high call volume in this fast paced position.
- Solid computer skills including internet knowledge (such as basic searching and queries), IM, email. Must have an overall comfort level with computer usage.
- Must be organized, self motivated, and have a distraction/noise free environment someplace in their home location (such as a private office).
- Minimum typing speed of 20 to 30 wpm with strong accuracy.


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (please test these capabilities prior to applying - please don’t apply if you don’t have these requirements):
- Standard, PTOS/Analog landline ONLY home phone service. We are unable to accept any cable or VoIP providers. Brighthouse is not an accepted provider at this time.
- High Speed internet connection (Cable, DSL, NO Satellite). Brighthouse is not an accepted provider at this time.
- Minimum internet speed as a minimum of 3 MB or higher download speed and minimum of 512 KB upload speed.
- Able to be connected directly to the vendor’s router by Ethernet cable, No wireless.
- Have a monitor capable of displaying a resolution of 1024 x 768 (no all-in-one or laptop monitors)
- Must have capability to maintain these requirements and have a source to repair your equipment if a non-ACTIVE Network technical problem arises.


Some customer service experience of any type required; work from home experience preferred.

Scottrade Advisor Services builds partnerships with Independent Advisors and provides personalized customer services as well as being a strategic resource. We are looking for a leader who can help continue to grow Scottrade Advisor Services.

    Scottrade, Inc. has a Business Development Representative opportunity in Saint Louis, MO (location flexible). The main purpose of this position is to cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) with the goal of cultivating new relationships and bringing additional assets to Scottrade. This role will work in collaboration with the advisor transition team, relationship team and other areas within the company to ensure a smooth enrollment and transition for RIAs.

    Responsibilities:

    * Establish and maintain relationships with RIAs and each advisory firm. Strategically apply Scottrade’s technology and resources to satisfy their goals and objectives. Promote the value and service offering of Scottrade Advisor Services to prospective Advisors in an effort to enroll advisors into the Scottrade Advisor program and consolidate all or portion of their advisory assets to Scottrade.
    * Implement a proactive sales program within the assigned region to generate new Advisor prospects through networking opportunities, Advisor organization presentations, and direct mailing and phone solicitation.
    * Contribute towards meeting KPIs and various departmental and team objectives and goals.
    * Record lead information via our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for all prospective Advisors, while providing them with pertinent information about the Scottrade Advisor Services platform.
    * Assist with all marketing and advertising campaigns to generate new Advisor prospects.
    * Provide transition support for Advisors enrolling in Scottrade Advisor Services, including providing guidance to new advisors and breakaway brokers with setting-up their practice and completing advisory registration.
    * Introduce advisors to Scottrade’s value add solutions such as managed accounts, errors & omissions insurance, compliance hotline, financial planning tools, and other technology.
    * Attend and exhibit at financial industry trade shows and events promoting the benefits of the Scottrade Advisor Services program. Follow up with leads in an effort to obtain their advisory business. Travel to meet with individual prospective advisors as needed.
    * Establish and support accounts for alternative institutional clients, including hedge funds, limited partnerships, banks, trust companies, pension plans, endowments, charitable foundations, etc.
    * Assist with existing relationships in which additional consolidation potential exists.
    * Maintain third-party relationships with various industry organizations and firms, through the Scottrade Advisor Services Resource Center Affinity Group program.
    * Perform other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    * Understanding of comprehensive asset management and financial planning.
    * Knowledge of the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) market place and fee based advisory business.
    * Strong understanding of FINRA and SEC rules/regulations as it relates to the advisory business.
    * Knowledge of third party technology that services RIA’s including portfolio management software, Financial Planning software and CRM, etc.
    * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    * Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
    * Exceptional research/problem solving ability.
    * Strong understanding of the stock market.
    * Ability to travel up to 15-20% of the time, with the ability to travel on short notice.
    * Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    Education and Experience:

RECENT WORK FROM HOME JOBS (SOME TRAINING STARTS IN JULY)

I've been looking recently for job postings for real Work at Home Jobs, and will provide you with a list here.  Most of the jobs are in the US, these are only a few, since there are many more.  In my Book coming out soon, some companies are constanly hiring at all times. Well here goes the list starts like this;


    GTeam FZ LLC provides software support services to customers who use our 25+ software products. Our Customer Support Managers manage the day-to-day operations of our software support teams.
    The Platinum Experience Manager (PEM) works on behalf of our platinum customers to ensure their software support issues are prioritized appropriately, resolved completely, and solved as quickly as possible by our teams. Please note that this is not a technical position, as Platinum Experience Managers are focused on issue management and relationship management. PEMs have monthly calls with the customers assigned to them and they work the key issues through these calls and follow-up emails. On average, PEMs have 10 Platinum Experience calls per week and spend the rest of their time researching issues, following up through email and participating in support management activities.
    We are looking for candidates who have the following skills, experience and attributes:

    *Experience in at least one of the following: account management, relationship management or customer support management.
    *Project management experience, preferably with direct customer interaction.
    *The ability to be effective in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities and multiple customers (external and internal).
    *A positive and resilient mindset
    *Strong written and verbal communications skills in English and French. Fluency in German or Italian is a plus, but not required.
    *Business Computer skills, such that you are effective with applications like: Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
    *Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)

*Work Location - This is a work-from-home position where you use email, Skype, GoToMeeting and web-based systems heavily. You can work from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a strong, stable internet connection.
*Work Hours / Schedule – This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. Customer Support staff work primarily US Eastern work hours (8am to 6pm), as this is when most of our customers are available. We do have some customers in Europe that you would work with as well, so there may be a instances where you would need to have conference calls before 8am US Eastern
